Match the stage, not a generic leather chemical
Short-term preservation of fresh hides is a bactericide duty in soak. Compact soaking agents with self-regulating pH even up take-up and protect flanks. Liming assistants help lime dissolve and flatten wrinkles. Ammonium-salt-free deliming powders reduce nitrogen load and need a shorter float than conventional ammonium salts. Degreasers split between crypto-anionic types for sheep and greasy wet-blue, and solvent-free fatty alcohol alkoxylates where APEO and solvent are banned.
State the raw material (bovine, calf, goat, sheep, fur), the stage, and any ban on APEO, solvent or ammonium. Dose on the weight basis given on the product page — fresh hide, salted, pelt or shaved — not on a guess.
