Agro Chemicals

Dyna Glycols manufactures emulsifiers, solvents and selected carbamate biocides used by agro formulators in emulsifiable concentrates, emulsions and related packs.

What agro chemicals are

Dyna Glycols manufactures emulsifiers, solvents and selected carbamate biocides used by agro formulators in emulsifiable concentrates, emulsions and related packs. The surfactants are the same ethoxylate, PEG, polysorbate and ester chemistries listed under chemistries, released against cloud point, HLB, saponification or hydroxyl value for the oil phase the customer names.

These grades are formulation ingredients. They are not finished crop-protection products. Pesticide registration, residue and label claims belong to the formulator. Dyna Glycols will not invent an FSSAI, CIB or EPA status for a surfactant lot.

How Dyna Glycols manufactures agro chemicals

Castor oil ethoxylates, fatty alcohol ethoxylates, alkyl phenol ethoxylates, PEG esters, polysorbates and neem oil ethoxylates are run on the Kandla alkoxylation and esterification plants. Glyceryl monooleate, butyl stearate and PEG 200–600 are finished as solvents and diluents. Sodium and potassium carbamates are listed as broad-spectrum mill biocides, fungicides and algaecides for industrial water and formulation preservation — specify the duty on the enquiry.

An herbal neem-oil ethoxylate is offered as an APEO-free emulsifier path. It is not a drop-in for NP-10. Run a paired EC bloom and emulsion-stability trial.

Typical grades in this range

Name the oil phase and the role (emulsifier, solvent, biocide). Typical catalogue families are listed below.

  • Agro emulsifiers: PEG 200–5000; castor oil 40 EO; C16–C18 alcohol 16 EO; alkyl phenol ethoxylates 8.5, 10, 13 and 20 EO; polysorbates 20, 40, 60 and 80; PEG esters of lauric, oleic, stearic and palmitic acids; propylene glycol esters; neem oil ethoxylate
  • Agro solvents and diluents: glyceryl monooleate; butyl stearate; PEG 200–600
  • Carbamates: sodium and potassium carbamates as listed for broad-spectrum biocide, fungicide and algaecide use in industrial systems

Where agro chemicals are used

EC and EW packs use a blend of a mid-HLB ethoxylate and a higher-HLB PEG ester or polysorbate to hold the solvent-oil phase. Castor 40 EO is a common solubiliser. Alcohol 16 EO and NP-10 type grades wet and emulsify mineral and vegetable solvents.

GMO and butyl stearate act as oily solvents and spreading aids, not as primary emulsifiers. PEG 200–600 is a polar co-solvent. Carbamates are specified separately from the emulsifier package.

How to specify agro chemicals

Send the solvent or oil phase, required HLB or cloud point, APEO policy, bloom and emulsion-stability tests, and whether the pack is EC, EW, SC or a wetter. For carbamates, name sodium vs potassium and the % active, plus the system (formulation, cooling tower, mill water).

If matching a competitor NP-10 or castor 40 EO, attach moles, cloud point and hydroxyl or SAP from that TDS.

Quality, documents and supply

Lots are released against the identity tests on the TDS. SDS and COA follow verification. Emulsion stability must be checked in the customer solvent blend, not only in xylene.

Store liquids above pour point. Protect carbamate solutions from frost where water is the solvent. Follow the SDS for handling and transport class.

Practical notes on agro chemicals

APEO alkyl phenol ethoxylates remain catalogue items for industrial agro concentrates that still specify them. Several markets restrict APEO. Say so on the first enquiry.

Related pages: oil ethoxylates, fatty alcohol ethoxylates, alkyl phenol ethoxylates, PEG esters, polysorbates, glyceryl esters. Sample the emulsifier pair together.

Neem oil ethoxylate changes odour and colour versus a fatty alcohol ethoxylate of similar HLB. Accept that in the pack brief or do not order it as a silent substitute.

Carbamate biocides are not surfactant wetters. Do not dose them as an emulsifier. Confirm the receiving mill or formulator still permits that chemistry.

English is the source language for HLB, moles and biocide claims. Machine translation is not a specification.

Once a trial lot is approved, freeze moles, cloud point and solvent identity so later drums match the evaluation.

Ordering and evaluating agro chemicals

Dyna Glycols supports agro chemicals with laboratory samples, current SDS, TDS and COA from the Kandla SEZ manufacturing network. Tell us the intended application, the substrate, the required moles or molecular weight, and any limits on colour, odour, cloud point, hydroxyl value, pH or residual feedstock. A matching catalogue grade of agro chemicals in the Agro Chemicals family can then be confirmed, or a custom batch can be planned on the ethoxylation, esterification or related plant.

When you evaluate agro chemicals, send the competitor grade if one exists, the bath or emulsion conditions, and the tests your receiving laboratory will run. Pack options for agro chemicals typically include drums, IBCs and bulk where the viscosity and melting point of the selected grade allow safe handling from the Agro Chemicals manufacturing line.

A first order of agro chemicals is easier when the purchase specification lists identity tests, not only a local trade name. Hydroxyl value, saponification value, acid value, cloud point, pH, water, colour and appearance are the numbers the Kandla QA laboratory can lock. If your QC uses a different solvent or a different cloud-point electrolyte for agro chemicals, write that method on the order so the COA speaks the same language.

Custom lots of agro chemicals are quoted after the hydrophobe or acid/alcohol pair, the target analytical window, the annual volume and the pack. Pilot batches are available when a catalogue point in the Agro Chemicals range is close but not exact. Once a trial lot is approved, that TDS should be frozen so the tenth delivery of agro chemicals matches the first approved drum.

Storage of agro chemicals should follow the SDS: keep containers closed, protect hygroscopic grades from moisture, and warm high-melt or high-mole grades until uniform before sampling. FIFO rotation protects colour and odour. If a drum of agro chemicals has frozen or separated in transit, homogenise it before charging a batch; do not decant only the liquid layer.

Application advice for agro chemicals is given against the process you describe, not as a universal recipe. Share machine type, temperature, pH, electrolytes, fibre or hide type, and any ban on APEO, formaldehyde or food-contact lists. Dyna Glycols can then sample agro chemicals alone or as a pair with a sister grade from the same Agro Chemicals family so compatibility is checked in one evaluation.

Documentation for agro chemicals is issued after a short verification of the company and the exact grade name. SDS covers handling; TDS covers typical properties; COA covers the shipping lot. If a customer audit needs extra tests on agro chemicals (for example residual feedstock, peroxide, formaldehyde or a pharmacopoeia-style identity), list those tests at the enquiry stage so they are built into release rather than added after dispatch.

No. The grades are emulsifiers, solvents and selected carbamate biocides for formulators. Pesticide registration, residue and label claims belong to the formulator.

Use the sample form and name Agro Chemicals together with the intended process, substrate and any EO/PO, HLB, cloud-point or active-content window. Laboratory quantities ship after a short company check, with SDS and TDS when those boxes are ticked. A catalogue grade can be confirmed, or a custom batch planned on the Kandla plants.

Yes. SDS, TDS and COA for Agro Chemicals are issued to identified companies after a short verification — they are not open downloads. COA is lot-specific; if a commercial lot has not been allocated, typical TDS data is sent first and the COA follows the production batch. Request files from the documents form.
