Oilfield and metal
Refinery & Oilfield Chemicals use EO/PO block copolymers, fatty amine ethoxylates, and selected alcohol or alkyl phenol ethoxylates as emulsifiers, wetters, demulsifier intermediates and corrosion-package partners. Specify crude or brine type, temperature and whether the product must be low-foam. Do not identify the need by another company’s oilfield grade code; molecular weight, EO content and amine value are manufactureable targets.
Metal and Electroplating Chemicals need wetting in high-electrolyte cleaners (often 2-ethylhexyl sulphate or low-mole ethoxylates), phosphate esters for corrosion inhibition, and PEG as a soluble carrier in some baths. pH and metal ion compatibility decide the anion class.
Food-adjacent emulsifiers and sugar
Food Emulsifiers draw on glyceryl mono- and diglycerides, sorbitan esters, polysorbates where permitted, and polyglycerol esters including polyglycerol polyricinoleate types. Documentation for food-adjacent use is not the same as an industrial TDS. Name the permitted additive function and any purity tests before sampling.
Sugar Chemicals are process aids around viscosity, scale and clarification rather than detergent ethoxylates. Share the process step (evaporation, pan, molasses) so the laboratory does not offer a textile scour by default. Across all of these industries, Dyna Glycols issues SDS, TDS and lot COA against the named chemistry — INCI or chemical name — not against a historic warehouse nickname.
Specification checklist
Put the application, the substrate, temperature, pH and any APEO or formaldehyde limit on the first enquiry. INCI or chemical names, cloud point, hydroxyl value, saponification value and colour are the numbers Dyna Glycols can lock on a TDS for this Oilfield topic. A warehouse nickname is not a specification.
Samples and documents
Request a laboratory sample of the related Oilfield grade together with the current SDS and TDS. The certificate of analysis is issued for the shipping lot after manufacture at Kandla SEZ. Once the trial is approved, freeze the identity tests so later drums of this chemistry match the article you evaluated.
