Auxiliaries around bleach, not the oxidant
Dyna Glycols does not sell commodity bleaching agents such as sodium hypochlorite or bulk hydrogen peroxide as catalogue oxidisers. What the textile and paper ranges supply are bleach auxiliaries: demineralisers that bind catalytic iron, peroxide stabilisers that slow unwanted decomposition, wetters that open the fibre, and peroxide killers that clear residual oxidant before dye. Ordering “bleaching agents” without that distinction attracts the wrong buyer and the wrong sample.
Write the bleach route (peroxide, other), fibre, machine and the failure: catalytic damage, dull whites, residual peroxide, foam or unlevel dye after bleach.
Demineralisers and peroxide control
Cotton Textile-Knit/Woven Processing Chemicals pretreatment uses demineralisers with high Fe++ chelation so residual iron does not destroy fibre in peroxide bleach. See also the chelating-agents article for ion-control language. Peroxide stabilisers and related bleach aids sit in the same block; they are not interchangeable with a fatty alcohol scour.
After bleach, residual peroxide must be cleared before many reactive dyes. A peroxide killer is a separate duty from the stabiliser used during bleach. Residual alkali is yet another control.
Paper brightness aids
Paper Chemicals list dyeing and bleaching aids and non-silicate peroxide stabilisers as process companions — again aids, not the oxidant charge. Share furnish, pH and whether the complaint is brightness, fibre damage or foam. A de-inking detergent is not a bleach stabiliser.
How to specify bleach auxiliaries
Name fibre or furnish, bleach chemistry, temperature, pH, water hardness, and whether the need is demineralising, stabilising, wetting or residual-peroxide kill. State APEO policy. Dyna Glycols will sample a cotton demineraliser, bleach aid or paper peroxide stabiliser against that window — not NaOCl.
Specification checklist
Put the application, the substrate, temperature, pH and any APEO or formaldehyde limit on the first enquiry. INCI or chemical names, cloud point, hydroxyl value, saponification value and colour are the numbers Dyna Glycols can lock on a TDS for this Bleach auxiliaries topic. A warehouse nickname is not a specification.
Samples and documents
Request a laboratory sample of the related Bleach auxiliaries grade together with the current SDS and TDS. The certificate of analysis is issued for the shipping lot after manufacture at Kandla SEZ. Once the trial is approved, freeze the identity tests so later drums of this chemistry match the article you evaluated.
