How chemical documents are issued, what each file covers, and when a lot number is required.
SDS covers handling, hazards and transport class. TDS covers typical properties used at evaluation. COA covers the shipping lot against the agreed identity tests. They are not interchangeable files.
SDS, TDS and COA are issued to identified companies after a short verification so the current revision for the exact grade is sent, and so specification files stay under ordinary commercial and EHS control.
COA is lot-specific. If a commercial lot has not been allocated, we send typical TDS data first and the COA with the production batch. Destination market and intended use help us issue the correct revision.
Product family and exact grade, then SDS, TDS, COA or regulatory documents as required. A work email and company name are required so we can verify the request.
Yes. You can request a laboratory sample together with SDS and TDS, or use the sample form for evaluation quantities.
Current revisions are typically sent within a few working days after verification. If we need a lot number, destination market or courier details, we will ask.
